Every
member of staff holds a basic hygiene qualification, with management
holding advanced and intermediate standards plus qualifications
in HACCP control, which provides complete traceability on all products.
We
are regularly inspected and are assured under the ABM (Assured British
Meat) Catering Butcher standard and we are also members of the EBLEX
Quality Standard Mark scheme for beef and lamb, which guarantees
we can offer our customers a product that has enhanced eating quality,
traceability and total product integrity.
Our
contract customer base requires us to have a STS Certificate (Support,
Training and Services Plc) this is also necessary when supplying
the NHS and SUPC (Southern University Purchasing Consortium).
We
have an approved Cutting Plant Number (6401). This is issued by
the Food Standards Agency and audited by them.
